Maura Miller,President and CEO Maura has more than 20 years of experience in the long-term care industry, including six years as a regional manager with a national provider. She served as administrator at Monterey Care Center before being promoted to vice president of operations and later president of the MacIntosh Company. Maura is a licensed nursing home administrator and licensed social worker with a bachelor of social work degree from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University.
John Dunn,Vice President of Operations Originally from central Ohio, John is a licensed nursing home administrator. He served as administrator at Monterey Care Center until 1997, when he was appointed vice president of operations for the MacIntosh Company. A Kent State University graduate, he holds a bachelor’s degree in gerontology.
Melanie O'Neil,CFO, Secretary, Treasurer Melanie is a Certified Public Accountant with over 13 years of long-term care experience and 10 years of experience in auditing and taxation. A life-long Ohio resident, she holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Kent State University.
Lisa Zeigler,Vice President of Operations, Amity Care Home Health Services Lisa is a licensed nursing home administrator and licensed social worker with more than 15 years of experience in the long-term care industry. She has held a variety of positions with the MacIntosh Company, including admissions director, social services director and administrator of Pickaway Manor and Monterey Care Center, before being promoted to her current position with Amity Home Health Services. Originally from Wooster, Ohio, she holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University.
Paul Schmitt,Vice President Paul is a registered architect with more than 30 years of experience in architecture, construction and real estate development. He has spent the past 13 years of his career in long-term care facilities management. Originally from New York, Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from The Ohio State University and an AAS degree in construction technology from Hudson Valley Community College.
Deborah Taylor,Director of Business Development From admissions and marketing to business development, Deborah has over 17 years of industry experience. She holds bachelor's degrees in management and marketing as well as a master's degree in public administration from Kent State University.
Rhonda Knisley, RN,QI/Operations Nurse Liaison Rhonda has 28 years of nursing experience, including 18 years in long-term care nursing as a director of nursing and consultant. A native Ohioan, she graduated from Columbus Tech with an associate’s degree in applied science in nursing.
Cathy Johnston,Director of Nutritional Services A Columbus native, Cathy has over 20 years of long-term care experience in food management and nutrition services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medical dietetics from The Ohio State University and is currently working toward her MBA at Capital University.
Melissa Holewinski, Systems Administrator Melissa has over seven years of long-term care experience in information technology, including systems administration, software conversions, and networking. A Certified Public Accountant (inactive), she did audit and tax work for KPMG after earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University.
Nicole Speakman,Director of Rehabilitation Services Nicole is a licensed physical therapist assistant with more than 16 years of experience in the physical therapy and rehabilitation fields. Originally from Circleville, she holds an associate’s degree in physical therapy assisting from Central Ohio Technical College.
